Hoshizaki ice cubes

The classic ice cube — hard and crystal clear, made in Japanese Hoshizaki machines with purified water. It is the workhorse ice of bars, restaurants and events: it chills fast, does not stick together in the bag and dilutes in a controlled way.

What it is for

Shaken cocktails

Stands up to the shaker without breaking apart and chills the drink in seconds.

Soft drinks and juices

The clear cube shows off the drink and does not change its taste.

Buckets and coolers

For bottles of wine, sparkling wine and beer at events and on terraces.

Why Hoshizaki cubes are different

Hoshizaki machines freeze water in thin, circulating layers. Air and some of the minerals stay in the water that does not freeze — so the cube comes out clear and dense, not cloudy like freezer ice.

A dense cube melts more evenly: the drink stays cold for longer and less watered down. It is also more hygienic and practical — loose cubes pour out of the bag with no stuck-together blocks.
