Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about our food-grade ice, deliveries and services
What types of ice do you produce?
We produce standard ice cubes (28 mm), crushed ice, craft cubes (45–60 mm), ice spheres (50–65 mm), ice sticks and custom logo ice. All our ice is made with Japanese Hoshizaki machines and filtered water.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver in Lisbon, Almada, Costa da Caparica and the Algarve. Delivery is free in Lisbon for orders over €28 and in Almada/Costa da Caparica for orders from €100.
What is the minimum order?
There is no minimum order. We handle both small orders for private customers and large volumes for restaurants, bars and events.
How can I order ice?
You can order directly on iceology.pt, by phone or via WhatsApp. For regular customers we offer scheduled deliveries at fixed times.
Is the ice safe to consume?
All our ice is food-grade, made with filtered water on professional Hoshizaki equipment, in line with all food hygiene and safety standards.
What is the difference between standard and craft ice?
Standard ice (28 mm) is ideal for general use in drinks and chilling. Craft ice is made in larger sizes (45–60 mm), melts more slowly and is crystal clear — perfect for premium cocktails and high-end bar presentation.
Do you make ice sculptures for events?
Yes. We have a professional sculptor on our team and create custom ice sculptures for weddings, corporate parties, brand launches and other events. Orders must be placed at least 10 days in advance. We also supply a base with a drainage system and adjustable lighting.
Can you make ice with my company logo?
Yes. We produce ice blocks with logos, menus or images frozen inside — an original way to present your brand at events and in your venues.
How long does delivery take?
In the Lisbon area, deliveries are same-day or next-day, depending on when you order. For the Algarve, lead times are agreed case by case.
Do you offer free sample ice for new customers?
Yes. We send a free sample pack so you can check the quality of our ice before placing a regular order.
